Please do not be overwhelmed by this information as it simply here to help you have a great stay. Below you will find information on how to find and enter our home as well as helpful information to ensure a smooth stay. We are here for you throughout your entire trip.
IF ANYTHING ARISES DURING YOUR STAY THAT WOULD PREVENT US FROM EARNING 5 STARS, PLEASE CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY AND NOT AT THE END OF YOUR STAY AS THIS MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE TO AMEND THE SITUATION.
Most issues are easily fixed but we can only do this if you let us know about them as soon as they are discovered. We unfortunately cannot do anything at the end of your stay so its imparative that you let us know upon discovery. We are a small family owned business and truly care about your experience and want you to have the best stay possible. We are at your disposal to answer any questions or concerns you may have, or to give you some great local recommendations!
***In the rare chance that you were to arrive and have any cleaning/maintenance issues, let us know right away so we can resolve the problem. We do require that you send pictures to our team as this will allow us to contact the necessary parties and help prevent any confusion regarding the liability of damages. We unfortunately will not be able to do anything about this if this is mentioned at the end of your stay. Thank you for your cooperation***

*Please note that we strictly enforce our check-in time (after 3 PM) and check-out time (before 11 AM). Failure to comply with our requested check-in and check-out times will result in a penalty fee of $100 and and an additional fee of $100 per hour. If our home is left excessively dirty, we will have to charge an additional fee to cover the extra time spent cleaning the home.

**If the key pad does not work for any reason don’t panic! There is a lockbox near the ground to the right of the front door! The lockbox code is 1001. Please make sure to return the key at check-out for our cleaners, if the key is lost, we do charge a $35 replacement fee.
SECURITY CAMERA:
While Joshua Tree is very safe, this property does have active security cameras out front (doorbell camera) and on the back deck facing the entrances for added security. These cameras do not face any amenities and are not actively monitored. We only refer back to the footage in the rare chance of an incident .

HOT TUB AND COWBOY POOL MAINTENANCE:
***OUR MAINTENANCE PERSON SERVICES THE HOT TUB AND COWBOY POOL ON MONDAY, WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAYS TO MAINTAIN OUR HOT TUB TO THE HIGHEST DEGREE OF CLEANLINESS FOR OUR GUESTS. DUE TO OUR HIGH OCCUPANCY, ALONG WITH OUR MAINTENANCE TEAM'S BUSY SCHEDULE, IT IS INEVITABLE THAT THIS SERVICE OVERLAPS SOME GUESTS' STAYS. WE JUST WANT TO LET YOU KNOW SO YOU ARE NOT ALARMED IF YOU SEE THESE WORKERS ON THE PREMISES. THERE IS NO SET TIME BUT THEY WORK VERY QUICKLY AS THEY HAVE MANY SPAS AND POOLS TO ATTEND TO DAILY IN THE AREA. SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING.***

NO PETS: ONE OF THE OWNERS IS SEVERELY ALLERGIC TO PETS. ADDITIONALLY, WE WANT PEOPLE WITH POTENTIAL ALLERGIES TO KNOW THAT WHEN THEY STAY AT OUR HOME THAT THEY ARE SAFE TO DO SO AS IT CAN BE EXTREMELY CHALLENGING TO FIND PET FREE PLACES TO STAY ($200 PENALTY FEE FOR UNANNOUNCED PETS). IF OUR CLEANERS ALERT US OF PET HAIR/PET STAINS WE WILL REQUIRE AN ADDITIONAL CLEANING FEE OF $100 PLUS DAMAGES. NO EXCEPTIONS. THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING

AS MUCH AS WE WOULD LOVE TO WE UNFORTUNATELY CANNOT MAKE ANY EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. THANKS FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING
Please let us know if you plan to bring extra guests. We are happy to welcome additions but please note that we do charge a $75 fee per night per additional guest (*failure to do so will result in a $200 penalty fee on top of the $75 fee*)
Please cover the hot tub after each use as courtesy to keep it warm for following guests and to avoid critters from taking a tragic swim, bird droppings from entering and anything else unpleasant that could fall in (*failure to do so will result in a $50 damage deposit as we will have to send maintenance over to handle this issue)
After 10 please call our local manager Dani as it can be difficult to hear Airbnb notifications late at night. We are at your disposal 24/7.
Please cover fire pit after usage ***once it has cooled down***. It is very important to wait until it cools down as failing to do so will damage the cover (*failure to do so will result in a $50 damage deposit to cover the replacement cost)
Please do not leave doors open at any time. The desert is full of insects and critters that we don't want visiting you inside during your stay!
If you happen to use the grill please be so kind and clean the grill after use.
If you drop anything big or small in the hot tub please take it out or alert us out so we can take it out upon your departure out of respect for the following guest. Thank you!
Please wipe your feet off with a towel to get the sand off prior to getting into the hot tub/Cowboy Pool. Sand is inevitable in the desert but this helps reduce the amount that goes into the hot tub. We had complaints about this prior to implementing this rule so we hope you understand that we are trying to ensure the best possible experience for the guest after you! Thanks so much for your cooperation.
Swim at your own risk. No jumping, diving, running, rough play, food or glass in the spa area. Children under the age of 18 must be supervised at all times when using the spa area. Always lock the hot tub cover when not in use: the top should never be left off at any time when not in use whether children are at the property or not.
Please do not leave any trash in the yard as it gets windy and it can blow all over the neighborhood. Please do your part to keep Joshua Tree clean. Our neighbor and the cleaners really appreciate it!
Monday is trash day, if you remember, please put the trash cans at the end of the driveway on Sunday night
NO PARTIES: Guests are not allowed to throw parties at this home and loud noises past 9 PM are strictly against county rules and out of respect for our beloved community. We are a small family owned business and this is how we put food on the table so we cannot jeopardize our listing over guests who disregard this rule.
Please do not leave cigarette butts anywhere around the yard or on the deck. The desert is prone to wildfires and this is a major fire hazard! We do not want to be the reason that California goes up in flames as this would be devastating. Thanks so much for your cooperation in protecting our beautiful state!
Please do not arm the alarm. Joshua Tree is a safe area. Please do not touch the alarm touch screen in the master bedroom, this will automatically arm the system. If this happens, do not stress. Simply contact Dani and she will give you a code to disarm it.
Please leave bedroom AC/heater remotes on the nightstands and the remote for the main room on the kitchen counter (*lost remotes will result in a $200 replacement fee per remote)
No smoking inside, smoking inside will result in a $500 damage deposit. One of our owners is very allergic. Thanks for your understanding!
No illegal drugs.
No underage drinking.
No photoshoots or video-shoots for profit without prior approval. There is an additional location fee for shoots for profit of any kind. This includes, but is not limited to sponsored posts, both in kind and/or paid. A sponsored post is defined as a paid project by a brand offering monetary compensation or exchange of goods. A location consent form must be signed before shoots of any kind. Unauthorized publication of the property will be subject to legal action and significant penalty fees.
